Help local service businesses build stable, recurring revenue.
Many small, independent, face-to-face businesses struggle to compete with big corporations. They have neither the time nor the tools to build the subscription platforms or experiences their customers expect. This is why Elina and her partner founded Go QR.
Go QR is built for small business owners by small business owners. The platform makes it easy for local service businesses to grow their customer bases through subscriptions and memberships.

CEO & Founder of Go QR
Through the Go QR platform, any business with repeat customers can set up subscriptions and memberships easily through QR codes. Customers can then easily scan the QR code to see the options on offer and choose which one they want. For businesses, Go QR offers an intuitive way to drive revenue, grow faster, retain more customers and increase their lifetime value. For customers, it’s a simple way to manage their subscriptions.
CEO & Founder Elina Ekman said, “It's more difficult than ever for entrepreneurs with rising costs and reduced spending habits. I know first-hand how difficult transactional businesses are to grow from a financial standpoint and face-to-face businesses aren’t being served.”
The team discovered Builder, “We've had great initial feedback from local businesses. A lot of businesses are really excited to join us on the Go QR journey.”
That’s why Elina chose to partner with Builder, “I'm not very familiar with software development so it can be overwhelming. We saw Builder.ai and loved the concept. The discovery call was so easy to understand and everyone was so helpful.”
Her favourite aspect of working with Builder.ai was how stress-free the experience is, “I would definitely recommend Builder.ai to others looking to bring their ideas to life. It’s like having a technical co-founder. It's made the process as stress-free as it possibly can be.”
Elina is excited to continue working with Builder. “We want to empower people to change the way they take payments - to take Go QR to small independent businesses internationally.”
Looking back at her journey building the app, she said, “If I could share any lesson I've learned building Go QR, it would be to be sure of the why. I’m building a business, it's not always been easy but I know why I’m doing it. I know we can make a difference for small independent businesses and that keeps me laser-focused.”
The first place users arrive when opening the application, introducing them to its features or for advertising. Great for capturing their attention and convincing them to continue using the product.
Use categories and subcategories to organise data, products, listings or posts. Helpful for organising relevant fields within the product, making finding items more straightforward.
Allows users to quickly scan QR codes using their device's camera to easily decode information such as website links, phone numbers and payments. Needs a third-party integration, so the final cost depends on their pricing.
Send email notifications to your users. Great for keeping in contact with them from outside the product. They can also unsubscribe from these emails if they wish.
Set up recurring billing for users and choose the frequency to match your business model. This is also helpful for users, as automated payments reduce friction around fees.
Create custom subscription plans for users. Offer different services to different users depending on the criteria you set. Unique plans can help give users flexibility and improve your business growth potential.
